Originality Technique ImpactI have never did gouache painting, but you didn't really good for your first time. I looked at the picture you referenced and I am glad you referenced it and not COPIED it. This composition has very good value and textures in the face, I kind of wish it transitioned a little more in to the fabric and hair a little more. But like you said it's your first time using it so I won't get on that. Other than that I really love the colours and the form, showing your whitest whites and darkest darks.
